这个语言由普林斯顿大学开发，公布时间大概只有一年半。最近有幸认识开发人员之一，普林斯顿大学的博士生王戈(GE WANG)，一个非常乐天派的小子。具体了解和见到了实际的软件。chuck软件和SC类似的地方是都为文本编辑界面，不同之处是以时间轴为概念。他也说一个新的程式语言如果没有新的概念的话就没有必要去学习，所以他们希望可以提供一个新的考虑的角度。

目前来说我个人觉得这个语言还不是很完善，从安装开始就是在mac的终端完成，而且编辑界面虽然可以在任何文本编辑软件下完成，但是觉得这样反复的转换容易搞晕自己，chuck比较有意思的地 方反而是它的监控界面，有三个视频化的监测界面，甚至搭建了一个可以多机的视频界面，里面的小玩偶的头顶你可以输入你想说的话。这个估计也是方便在网络中 多人进行交流的。

王戈告诉我chuck会尽快在内部建立一个编辑系统，而且以后视频化的界面可以在chuck内部进行个人化的设计。希望这个软件会是一个有趣的工具。有兴趣的朋友可以去chuck的官方网站下载，这个软件是开源并免费的.

I’m hesitate to inform all of you, friends of Prof. Wen Chu-an of Sichuan University , that he had gone out of this world on September 23, 2005, for the reason of myocardial infarction. What tragic news! I am stunned, as all your friends are! His funeral has staged on September 25, 2005.
He was a loyal and generous friend. He was an inspired professor who had the achievement on BG research. He was never afraid of saying what he believed. And having said it-he was a man of his word. Wen was an extraordinary man.
He will be missed by all of his friends. He will not be forgotten.
